ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Keeping in view the need of highly skilled persons in Electrical Engineering field, the electrical department was established in 1958 at KGP, Srinagar. This was the first of its kind in the whole state of J & K. The department has produced highly skilled persons that have done wonders in this field. The students are absorbed not only locally but also in different states of India.

Courses Offered

Long term courses :-

Three year diploma in electrical Engg.

Short term course :-

1. TVET course in one year in domestic electrician
2. Three months course in motor winding
